Frank Gomez Jr. is an educator, a student of philosophy, a teacher of writing, and a poet. He is currently employed as a multi-subject teacher at Maria Regina School, a K-8 Catholic elementary school in Gardena, California. Frank, as a Catholic school educator, has also served as a vice-principal, a co-chair on the accreditation committee, a grade level coordinator, and student council moderator.
Frank is also a former college instructor and department chair. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, and a Master of Arts degree in Education and Philosophy (cognate) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Politics (minor) from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky.
Frank is interested in socio-political philosophy, the educational phenomenon, and the role of technology in our lives and poetry. He has researched and published papers focusing on Educational Excellence from both the student’s and teacher’s perspective
